Torsion spring
The torsion spring is a helical cylindrical spring having at least one and a half active threads. It is capable of receiving external forces acting in its planes perpendicular to the axis of the winding and causing a torque in the sense of rolling or unfolding.
The torsion spring wire is subjected to bending during spring operation.
